As part of the GRADE project, financed by European funds, the automatic generator installed at the Water Station in Grădinari commune was used approximately 9 times in 2023, due to power outages or other technical problems related to the operation of the station, such as repairs automations. The interventions lasted between 40 minutes and 12 hours, depending on the complexity of the problems encountered.

Most uses of the generator occurred during the spring when weather conditions were unfavorable, including thunderstorms, torrential rain and hail.

The automatic generator is essential to ensure the continuous operation of the Water Station, starting automatically when there are power outages in the area, thus ensuring uninterrupted water supply to the community.

This type of equipment is a crucial component in the emergency infrastructure developed within the project, contributing to increasing the resilience of the community in the face of extreme phenomena and ensuring the continuity of essential services.

The GRADE project continues its work by implementing technical and organizational solutions aimed at protecting the community and providing rapid responses in critical situations.
